BBZ Poker Community Awards – August 2023

The BBZ Poker Community Awards are designed to celebrate our students’ success stories and the best posts in our Discord.

We’ll be giving out three monthly awards: the Constant Crusher award, Like A Boss award, and the Best Mic Drop award.

Constant Crusher Award

The Constant Crusher Award is precisely what it sounds like: a big shout-out to the person who consistently puts up great results throughout the month.

August 2023’s winner?

Schwibbs.

Alex ‘Schwibbs’ Schwint is in the market for a new virtual trophy cabinet.

We know this because not only has he won countless online poker titles over the past couple of years — including WSOP Circuit events and SCOOP titles — but he’s been featured in our community awards perhaps more than anyone else.

This month, we’re giving Schwibbs the Like A Boss Award for a post of his graph. It shows that he’s now hit $1 million in online cashes.

His incredible ascent started when he began working with BBZ Poker.

“If anyone was ever on the fence about Jordan’s coaching…” he said.

Like A Boss Award

The Like A Boss Award goes to someone from the BBZ community who pulled off an awe-inspiring feat across the month.

August 2023’s winner?

4AcesFordy.

Here at the BBZ Community Awards HQ, we like to reward hard work and consistency.

But sometimes, you simply have to shout out an incredible slice of good fortune.

In August, that went to community member 4AcesFordy who hit a $100K jackpot while playing $10 spins on Party Poker.

The score may have required more than a bit of luck, but to get the win required skill and execution under the utmost pressure.

Congrats, 4AcesFordy, enjoy it!

Best Mic Drop Award

The Best Mic Drop Award goes to BBZ community member who dropped the sexiest result into the BBZ Brags Discord channel.

August 2023’s winner?

Joshinaround.

How could it not be?

The guy won more than $1M for crying out loud!

Joshinaround — who goes by the appropriate moniker “John Milly” on GG Poker — finished in 224th place out of an insane field of more than 50,000.

That finish was good for $2,451. But along the way, he knocked out eight opponents and one of them proved to be very valuable indeed.

The tournament was a Mystery Bounty event and had one top bounty of $1 million. And it went to a member of our community.
