BBZ Poker Community Awards – February 2024

After a few months break, the BBZ Poker Community Awards are back!

We created these awards to celebrate our community and share each other’s success stories – plus the best posts in our Discord.

We’ll be giving out three monthly awards: the Constant Crusher award, Like A Boss award, and the Best Mic Drop award.

Find out who won in February 2024 below.

Constant Crusher Award

The Constant Crusher Award is precisely what it sounds like: a big shout-out to the person who consistently puts up great results throughout the month.

February 2024’s winner?

SURY.

Enjoying one deep run during a session is often the best we can hope for, but this player managed to make every single session count with not one but multiple final table finishes every time they played.

It started in late January and then continued throughout February.

Not every score was a bankroll-changer. But it’s the commitment to giving it their all — regardless of the stakes — that we most admire about SURY’s month.

Then, when it really counted, they were ready — taking down the $11 Mini Fenomeno on PokerStars for $2,699.

A few days later another trophy came in the Big $11 for $1,882, alongside two other final tables.

And SURY finished off the month in style.

Like A Boss Award

The Like A Boss Award goes to someone from the BBZ community who pulled off an awe-inspiring feat across the month.

February 2024’s winner?

riihhhh15.

Playing your best through a downswing is one of the most important traits a poker player can possess. Community member rikihhh15 displayed just that this month and managed to come through the otherside with a nice score.

What makes it even more impressive is the tournament buy-in. At 10x their usual average buy-in, rikihhhh15 managed to turn a €5 satellite into €634.

The tide is turning! Nice work.

Best Mic Drop Award

The Best Mic Drop Award goes to BBZ community member who dropped the sexiest result into the BBZ Brags Discord channel.

February 2024’s winner?

Brass Monkie.

The Thursday Thrill is one of the weekly events on PokerStars that every player would like to win.

As there were no Community Awards in January, we’d love to retroactively award the Best Mic Drop to Brass Monkie for their efforts in defeating in a 4,373-strong field in the $55 New Year Series edition.

An incredible run and a beautiful $20,540 score.

You guys have really started the year off strong. Keep it going!
