How does poker staking work?
BBZ funds your buy-ins. When your account balances clear your makeup — the total invested — we split 50/50. You never risk your own money.
What is a poker stable?
A poker stable is a group of players backed by a single staking operation. BBZ Academy is a professional poker stable — we fund buy-ins, provide coaching, and split profits 50/50 when makeup is cleared.
What is makeup?
The running total we've invested in your play. Clear it before a profit split triggers. We don't profit until you do.
What's the profit split?
50/50 on net profit after makeup is cleared. Exceptional players can negotiate better terms over time.
Do I need to play full-time?
No. Full-time is 500–600+ tournaments/month. Part-time is 150–300. Consistency matters more than volume.
What sites can I play on?
Set by region. GGPoker, European regulated sites, Italian networks. Agreed at signing.
What if I go on a downswing?
We judge on trajectory and coaching engagement, not short-term results. We have a Postponed Makeup Program for extended downswings.
Is there a cost to join?
No. BBZ funds everything. Your investment is time and commitment.
