Want to thank you again BBZ for the systems courses, finished all 4 (simple, pressure, multiway and passive in this order). Might be the best postflop courses (or overall thinking about poker courses) you can get on the market. I’ve watched and tried a lot of content and coaches and this one hits differently and I understood that after watching the first lessons in SPS and kept the same opinion across all 4 courses. I’d actually recommend anyone doing it in my order as simple and pressure fix common spots and common way to think about poker and lay good building blocks for understanding everything else. Multiway is sort of a different beast and you can rest your mind from HU pots while studying it. And in passive you return back to HU pots and practice basically one thing all over and over (thin betting and correctly bluffing because of the opponent being capped), while using ideas and building blocks you’ve learned along the way. I sort of agree that if you already know the basics, multiway and passive SHOULD have the largest impact on your ROI and there are so many hands and so much repetition that most of the ideas, after finishing the course and maybe playing a bit, will be so reinforced in your head that they will be automatic to you and you will NOT understand how others DON’T understand it – that’s what’s been happening to me, some of the things have become so natural that I don’t undersatnd how I didn’t get it before.
What’s up BBZ crew, here’s what my experience was like learning from Jordan/BBZ. The time I had working one on one with Jordan was the single most transformative time of my poker career. He completely revolutionized how I looked at poker and how I approached studying. Jordan created a beautiful framework/structure for how to improve your game, he dissects and breaks down such complex topics in an incredibly simple way to understand. The whole BBZ program intricately teaches all of the steps of GTO poker, while simultaneously explaining when and how to properly deviate from GTO to extract maximum value from your opponent through exploiting their biggest mistakes. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of service that Jordan/BBZ provides to players looking to improve their game.
5 minutes into my 1st 1on1 consultation with Jordan, he uncovered some major leaks in my game. 5 days later I had a 400x score for over $26k on ACR. You won’t be able to find a better MTT NLH coach. Not possible.
Thought it a good time to just tag onto this post, I’m a rec with a full-time job and 2 kids, so free time is sparse! I bought SPS about 2 years ago, then pressure systems around a year ago, both of these MASSIVELY improved my play. They are excellent courses with well thought out strategies that are easy to implement, so thank you very much for that! Well worth the price and my profit in the last 2 years has easily covered the cost many times over (my ABI is around $4) 👍
Hey guys! I have taken on the challenge of learning mtts about 3 years ago and throughout that time I’ve done a lot of study material and coaching from pads’ course, bencb, gto lab, etc etc and a few private coaches. Most of them provide some good ideas here and there but at least for me, I didn’t see significant changes in my play after using them and thus not a rapid rate of improvement. In August of this year I found bbz through youtube video content and bought many of the courses including simple systems, multiway systems, pressure systems, and passive systems and have also used the seminars with the other coaches and have learned a lot from them as well…My winrate has increased a lot and I have way more clarity about how things work rather than just memorization and having it all fall apart since learning from bbz. I have also started private coaching with jordan and he is fantastic, I’ve learned way more from him than some other coaches that I was paying more for. I cant speak for all the material and coaches on this site because I just haven’t done all the material but I find the stuff that jordan has his hands in to be pure gold for me personally and the way that I learn. I have also watched a few seminars done by apestyels and brian flite and those were great as well. Thanks to the team for helping me improve and feel less overwhelmed with mtts because before finding them I was sort of lost and flailing but now have a clearer path forward.
I’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone at BBZPoker, the content here is out of this world. When I luckboxed into a Platinum Pass I decided it was finally the moment to invest some time in deeper topics; I grinded the BBZ content and used the learnings to play with solvers for just 2 months, and it’s absolutely insane how much I’ve improved. Instant leaks plugged and instant PTSD for all the mistakes I was doing. The most striking thing to me is how visually the difference manifested in this short time, I can immediately tell how a mandatory bluff now would have been 100% missed before, a giant thin value pot that would have been checked, etc. I was dreading facing these raid bosses live, but I was super calm and I swear over these 3 days it was actually so much fun. Again such a visible mentality shift understanding how stuff works, “sure, you’re 10x the player I am but this is my flop, good luck sir”. And the crazy thing is that this is after I basically just learned the rules of the actual game. I’ll continue to play recreationally but I feel my study is just starting. I’ve always felt the game is not about winning, is about getting better at the game – and the BBZ resources offer exactly that.
I have worked with a lot of coaches in different fields over time and the thing the best ones do is they create clarity and ‘draw the map’ that you can go execute on to take you from A-B. This is exactly what Jordan does. The fact that he is giving it away for free sometimes to people in the seminars (this is the second time this yera) is crazy to me. The value he is able to deliver in only 20-30 minutes and the fact he is able to give me a to do list for the next months in that period is amazing. Thanks again Jordan!
Just did my free consultation with Jordan…probably the best value in poker coaching when you sign up for a year. Thanks a ton!!! – Free 15 minute consultation with Jordan “BBZ” Drummond for every annual seminar subscriber.
I just finished Pressure Poker Systems – super educational insights from Jordan (like usual) and great hands selection. For people not sure which course to choose as a starting point – I would suggest Simple Poker Systems –> Pressure Poker Systems –> River Simplifications
Hey guys! The leak finder is another solid product released by the BBZ Team. It helped me identify where my biggest leaks are, and paired with the seminars, it allowed me to focus my study time where my game needs it most. I still have a long ways to go to being an absolute crusher, but I’m happy with the way my stats/graph is trending.
anyone on the fence on passive systems, highly recommend. For myself, @BBZ was spot on w “these spots are not emotional and tend to be understudied”. Very good guide for areas to study / go further in depth on. Less obvious / under studied spots for myself to add a lot of win rate.
I’ve been learning with the seminars and some of the courses for almost a year now and I’m very happy that I signed up for BBZ. I’ve already learned a lot of new skills in this period of time and I really notice how it gives me a lot of confidence in game!
It would be super easy for Jordan to look at what seminar subscribers get for their money and his own hectic schedule and say “good enough” Instead, he offers up his own valuable time and adds one more reason to be a member here. If anyone is on the fence, you really can’t go wrong. The session I had with him was super valuable, awesome to hear exactly what I should work on from someone so good at what he does.
I’ve been a seminar subscriber for a few years now and purchased courses over the years too. I would personally recommend the seminars, apestyles bundle and Simple Poker Systems courses very highly. I haven’t felt more confident in my game and looking forward to keep studying and improving with BBZ. If anyone is on the fence…I’d say go for it. You won’t regret it. My BB/100 has gone from 5.4 > 9.19
Just got the Leakfinder – might be the most value I ever got from 10 dollars. Thanks for providing a cheap and effective way to highlight my blind spots and help me focus on the right things when studying!
I studied the ICM Pre-Flop Masterclass and it really opened my eyes as to how much I had to learn. I really did suck. I know from working with Jordan, how much effort and time he puts into being on top of today’s games that you’re not going to find any better content on ICM out there.
I have done an immense amount of work with BBZ 1on1 and can easily say he has been the most influential person in my poker game in the last 18 months. I have also done tens of hours of work and review 1on1 with Jargo and think he is for sure one of the most knowledgeable people in the ICM realm of two-card poker. He is already my go-to man for sending ICM spots, so I’m sure the course will be genius!
