BBZ Poker Community Awards – March 2023

The BBZ Poker Community Awards are designed to celebrate our students’ success stories and the best posts in our Discord.

We’ll be giving out three monthly awards: the Constant Crusher award, Like A Boss award, and the Best Mic Drop award.

Constant Crusher Award

The Constant Crusher Award is precisely what it sounds like: a big shout-out to the person who consistently puts up great results throughout the month.

March 2023’s winner?

Caldini.

This isn’t the first time Caldini has picked up gongs in our monthly community awards, and it won’t be the last either based on their recent results.

The month got off to a great start, with trophies and four-figure scores galore.

But it really switched up a gear midway through when Caldini took down the $55 Mini Bounty Builder High Roller on PokerStars (a Bounty Builder Series event) for more than $18K.

And even though this score crept into April, they capped things off with a huge runner-up finish worth $37,925.

Caldini is on fire.

Like A Boss Award

The Like A Boss Award goes to someone from the BBZ community who pulled off a particularly impressive feat across the month.

March 2023’s winner?

daniel.

While Caldini took down the Mini Bounty Builder High Roller on PokerStars, BBZ student daniel was getting things done up in the $530.

The $530 Bounty Builder HR is quite simply one of the toughest regular tournaments on the poker schedule, a favorite to many poker players.

And daniel — having put in the work with BBZ Poker — took it down for almost $15K, their biggest poker win to date.

“I feel lucky and blessed,” they said. “Thank you BBZ Poker for showing us the way!”

Best Mic Drop Award

The Best Mic Drop Award goes to BBZ community member who dropped the sexiest result into the BBZ Brags Discord channel.

March 2023’s winner?

Never[F]old.

Several factors can make a brag worthy of the best mic drop award.

An enormous field. A prestigious tournament. A big shiny trophy of some description.

But first and foremost, it’s the number that makes both mics and jaws drop.

In March 2023, it was BBZ community member Never[F]old who ticked all of those boxes.

They took down a World Series of Poker (WSOP) ring after defeating 1,876 players to win a mouth-watering $85,765.

Quite simply, an incredible result. Congratulations!
