The Cutoff: Who is BBZ’s new cash game coach?

MEET OUR NEW CASH GAME COACH

You may have noticed some changes in our Daily Seminars schedule.

That’s because BBZ Poker’s new cash game coach, Wey “CRAIbaby” Xie, is now providing cash game coaching as part of the weekly schedule at no extra cost.

But who is Xie?

Well, for years he was a $500 Zoom crusher who played as high as $25/$50 cash games, but what really caught Jordan “bigbluffzinc” Drummond’s attention was his coaching prowess.

“Jordan was talking with one of my students and his results were improving significantly, so I guess that’s how he became interested,” Xie told us in an interview this week. “Jordan and I then had some calls and did some coaching together. I’m pretty excited about it all. It’s just a nice feeling to be able to give some value and provide some nice content for people.”

Xie–who is predominantly self-taught and wrote a thesis on game theory–has put poker to one side while he studies artificial intelligence at one of Germany’s best computer science schools, but that hasn’t stopped him teaching some of the best cash game grinders in the world today with great success
